The Data Science Circles, much like a math circle, will be an informal monthly meeting that will be open to the public for anyone interested in our work at the Data Sciences Academy. These monthly meetings will give participants exposure and experience thinking like a data scientist, working with tools such as CODAP, Data Classroom and Data Nuggets. Our mission with the Data Science Circles would be to promote best practices for engaging students in data science and offer a supportive learning community to K-14 educators.
