PhotoVoice believes everybody should have the opportunity to represent themselves and tell their own story. We work in partnership all over the world on projects and activities which combine ethical photography and community engagement, and deliver positive social change.

As a way for the Natives Who Code team to commune with the parents and community of Baboquivari's Secondary School, our team is hosting a photovoice session to answer the question, "How do you define success?" This effort in direct community engagement is the starting point for our work to partner with the community in education. Although our aim is to support the computer science department at Baboquivari Secondary, we recognize the value of this type of conversation for the entire community around the schools in Sells, AZ. We hope to continue this dialogue with the education community to form a sustainable program in culturally responsive computer science course offerings at Baboquivari High School.
