Data Driven Projects and Stats in Middle School Math Grades 6-8 (IMPACTS-MS)
Statistics and probability are often left for end of the year instruction. Yet middle school students need to develop a deep understanding of statistics, probability and sampling, and bivariate data before moving onto high school. Come learn how data driven projects could be implemented throughout the school year to promote student learning of various mathematical topics in authentic contexts that help them see mathematics come alive in their lives.

Location: Hybrid: In-person at UArizona Tucson Campus. Remote via Zoom.
Earn: Up to 5 hours of professional development credit for recertification.
**NOTE: Participants will be expected to take a task back to their classrooms, collect and analyze student work, and share their reflections with the CRR.
