4 days of in-person professional development for our Natives Who Code participants

For the second year in Natives Who Code, the Data Sciences Academy will be hosting our returning and newly recruited Natives Who Code educators from across Arizona and their school administration for a 4 day summer professional development. We will be working with school teams to Weave a CS Vision for their schools, experience cultural immersion with the Tohono O'odham and Pascua Yaqui tribal communities and be given time to plan for a place-based lesson/unit/project/etc. This type of individualized support reflects the Natives Who Code new direction for our second year of programming.
