Research: I'm currently working on a project studying Merkel cell carcinoma, which is a rare but aggressive form of skin cancer. The goal of this project is to determine how Merkel cell polyoma virus, which is associated with 80% of cases, drives this cancer and identifiy possible targets for treatments. I will be using network analysis to detect gene interactions of interest among an RNA-seq dataset.
