Margaret Wilch Director of Research at the Southern Arizona Research, Science and Engineering Foundation (SARSEF), following a 26 -year teaching career at Tucson High Magnet School. Margaret received a Bachelor’s of Special Studies in Biology (Cornell College), MS General Biology (University of Arizona) and was awarded an Honorary Doctorate of Science (University of Arizona College of Science) in 2012. Margaret provides educational outreach and support to high school teachers and students, helping students to identify tractable research questions and methodologies. She also connects students with mentors through the SARSEF/UA Students Taking Advantage of Research (STAR) outreach lab at UArizona.
